Put a title on a photo for a YouTube thumbnail, cover or story slide. Multi-line text, nine positions, a shadow or outline so it reads anywhere, and a dark band behind the words.
- Open a photo and type your title; Enter starts a new line.
- Pick a corner or the center, then set the size and weight.
- Add a shadow, outline or dark band if the photo is busy, then download.
Thumbnail text works best large and short: three to five words at 8 to 14 percent of the width, heavy weight, with a shadow or outline.
The dark band is a soft gradient behind the words, so a bright sky or a white wall never swallows a white title.
Your last text and settings are remembered for the next photo.
