A LUT (look-up table) maps every colour to a new one. .cube is the common format: Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, Lightroom (via profiles) and most phone apps read it.
Strength blends the LUT with the original, the same as an intensity slider in an editor. Export at 60% and you get a .cube that is 60% of the look, ready to drop on a timeline.
The built-in looks are simple formulas, not copies of anyone's grade. Everything runs on your device.
