Turn a few seconds of a video, or a set of photos, into a looping GIF. Pick the start and end, frame rate and width; the GIF is built on your device and never uploaded.
- Open a short clip (MP4, MOV, WebM) or several photos.
- Set the start and end, the frame rate and the width.
- Make the GIF, check the loop, download.
GIFs are big: two seconds at 12 fps and 480 px is a few megabytes. Keep clips short, use 8 to 12 fps for most footage, and 320 or 480 px wide for chat and email.
GIF has 256 colours per frame, so gradients and skies can band. For sharp colour, share a short MP4 instead and keep GIF for reactions, loops and previews.
